Student Workshops
During these interactive workshops, our expert coaches guide students through powerful storytelling and how to apply that to college essays, providing ample opportunities for hands-on learning.
Revision Learning offers in-person and virtual workshops to teach students about the power of storytelling and how to approach writing different types of college essays. In our 3 “Core” workshops, students gain a foundational understanding of our unique approach to storytelling and writing and are able to apply that knowledge to writing and editing a college essay draft. In our more advanced workshops, students build on the foundational knowledge and skills gained during the Core workshops and dive deeper into storytelling for more specific purposes.
In all of our workshops, coaches answer students’ questions and provide feedback in real time, which allows for deep engagement and understanding. Students leave the workshop with a better understanding of storytelling and writing and have concrete next steps about how to move forward with their essays.
Our workshops range from 1 to 2.5 hours and can be split up to accommodate students’ schedules. Each workshop is fully customizable to meet students’ specific needs. Whether we’re working with a group of 5 or 500, we tailor the experience to ensure meaningful engagement for all participants.
